Whether you’re all for being tatted up or you prefer a more conservative “ink free” lifestyle, it’s pretty difficult to deny that tattoos have upped their ante in popularity over recent years. What was once perceived as trashy and (somewhat) sleazy in the fashion industry is now applauded for its artistic expression. From a full sleeve to a half sleeve to one single lyric of (insert cliche boy band here), tattoos can be spotted everywhere. And while I myself might not choose to cover my body in them, I do appreciate a certain type: they’re the tats that I like to call the delicate and the dainty. These beauts are often found on random and (somewhat) hidden places on the body. They’re tiny and almost fragile looking, which is perfect when taking on the “minimalistic” look that now seems to be the center of the fashion industry. Delicate tattoos aren’t just a piece of body art, they’re the perfect accessory for any outfit in need of a subtle edge to it. But they are the most permanent accessory money can buy… so you might want to stick with jewelry until you’re ready. 😉
