My favorite part about baking has always had nothing to do with baking; it’s the eating part that keeps me motivated. I mean, the rest is pretty tedious, really. Crack this many eggs, add that much sugar and don’t forget to spray the pan! God forbid, you get distracted and add an extra half a cup of flour. Am I the only one who’s struggling here or do you feel me? Good food takes time, so I’ve been told. Or does it? What if I told you that you could be chowing down some delicious (relatively) healthy cookies within a matter of minutes? It’s time for a quick Betty Crocker meets Easy Bake Oven lesson, and we’ve got just the recipe for you: Banana peanut butter oat chocolate chip cookies. And the best part about this recipe is that all the ingredients needed are listed in the name of the cookie. So whip out some bananas, oats, peanut butter and chocolate chips, and you’re golden (just like your cookies, hopefully.)


What you’ll need:

2 ripe bananas

1 cup of oats

2-4 tablespoons of peanut butter (depending on how strongly you feel about PB)

1-2 handfuls of chocolate chips (we love using white chocolate!)



1. Mash the bananas in a medium size bowl.

2. Add oats and peanut butter to mashed bananas.

3. Mix thoroughly.

4. Add chocolate chips to mixture.

5. Roll mixture into small balls and place onto cookie sheet.

6. Put in oven for 12-15 minutes on 400 degrees (or until golden brown).
