Let me guess. Up until today you had decided that this year’s Halloween was just “so overrated” and as a result, would only consist of a few scary movies, a pint of ice cream, and just a bag of Reese’s (or two). Well that sounds great and all, until you realize that the scariest holiday of the year only comes around once, so you might as well make the best of it! If you’re scrambling to figure out a witty + creative costume last minute that would hide your failure to be festive this season, we have some perfect costume ideas that will do you more justice than deserved!

1. Regina George:

In my personal opinion, every girl should get the chance to be a plastic at least once in her lifetime, so it seems as though Halloween is fitting for the occasion! Regina George is sassy, blunt, and without a doubt fearful- three things that make up the perfect Halloween costume. There are a few classic plastic looks that you could recreate for this haunted holiday, but chances are, if you’ve waited ‘till the last minute, you’ll probably have to settle for the easiest one. Grab the cheap white tank you threw on the floor the other day and cut two holes in the bust area to expose your bright purple bra as the queen of the North Shore High once did herself. Pair it with a black mini skirt, black pumps, and your golden locks to finish off the look!

2. Flapper girl:

This 1920’s inspired look will have you feeling classy and chic at any Halloween party this season! Throw on that LBD (little black dress) you have in your closet, along with some pearls, a feather boa, and black pumps. If you really want to look the part, add some tights and gloves to give your ensemble an extra dazzle!

3. Rosie the Riveter:

Who doesn’t love a good motivational women’s campaign? Well, if you’re feeling extra empowered for the women’s rights movement this year, deck out like Rosie to show it! Throw on a denim top, bandana and red lips, and you will have successfully embodied the 1950’s spirit. Don’t forget to do a few push-ups before you leave. After all, you’ll need to show off a toned flex whenever people walk by 😉

Stay Stylish,
